overview

Ross Cottage is situated on the rim of the Quoddy Loop, a ring of American and Canadian towns, parks, natural areas, and scenic sites surrounding Cobscook and Passamaquoddy bays. Washington County, the west side of the loop, is one of the most scenic and least developed parts of the East Coast. Within one to one and a half hour’s drive of the cottage are attractions for all ages (though we can make no guarantees regarding teenagers). Wildlife may be observed at many locations, not least at Ross Cottage.

  • Whale watching
  • West Quoddy Head Light House
