Ross Cottage sits on a bluff well above the high tide line on Hersey Neck overlooking Cobscook Bay. Described by the Nature Conservancy as one of the “Last Great Wild Places,” Cobscook is the one remaining relatively undeveloped large bay on the East Coast of the United States. The 17-acre Ross Cottage property extends southward around a rocky point to include the cliffs and beaches on the north side of Red Cove. The cottage acreage is surrounded by 50 more acres of Ross property; all is protected by a conservation easement held by the Downeast Coastal Conservancy. The nearest residence is half a mile away.

All proceeds are dedicated to the Downeast Coastal Conservancy
